MapleBot was built, tested, and run on an 8 year old laptop with a screen that is 1280 x 800 (resolution shouldn't make a difference) on a T4200 Pentium Dual Core 2.00GHz with 3Gb ram Windows 7 64bit. If I can run it on that, you can run it.
Supports the new required Nexon Launcher. While the bot is running, you cannot touch or use your computer. Because of pixel detections, Windows 7 may be required unless modifications are made to the code (any other OSes have not been tested).
Kanna_Flat_MapleBot.au3 is for training at Northwest Heights. Xenon_Arcane_MapleBot.au3 is for training at Hidden Torrent Zone. When building your own MapleBot.au3 code, use Xenon_Arcane_MapleBot.au3 as your reference-- it contains the most up-to-date code.
Unzip the package, go into the MapleBot-master folder, and copy and paste all the contents into your Documents folder
Your computer must have a single login (or no logins) and no password.
All screenshots are stored in Screenshots. Do not delete this folder.
Set your Nexon Launcher to run when your computer starts. Open up Nexon Launcher, click the dropdown menu in the top right, click Settings, and check the box as shown below:
Under Settings > Options, set your MapleStory client to windowed mode 800x600:
Change your PIC to any combination of 1s and 7s. Your PIC can only contains 1s and 7s.
Expand your Mini Map to its largest size.
Kanna_Flat_MapleBot.au3 just assumes your last selected character was your Kanna. Xenon_Arcane_MapleBot.au3 assumes your Xenon is on the top-leftmost slot on the first character selection screen as shown below (these are configurable):
Your antivirus may affect sending email. You may need to disable your antivirus, or reconfigure it to permit emails/SMTP (as is the case with Avast).

[Reboot] Truth about botting
Alright so I've been on this subreddit for about 2 weeks now since Reboot started and I'm really starting to get sick of all the blatant stupidity that flies around this subreddit most specifically in regards to people protecting people who bot with the phrase 'Oh they just farmed at NH before everyone knew, or there's a secret spot.' To be fair, there are probably some no-life individuals who did legitimately farm their mesos and equips for hundreds of hours over the course of Reboot's existence (dunno what else to call you guys, sorry), but for the most part most of these streamers that you watch or the people who smega with legendary equips with stupid potentials are botters. Many of you may argue that this is not the case, but the fact of the matter is that it's all too easy for one to say 'oh I just farmed 2b off-stream' or that they have a 'secret farming spot' and effectively remove themselves from all responsibility. In regards to the only viable places to farm mesos, blackgate and maps in the Singapore Area are the only ones that come close to being viable in regards to farming mesos (I'm sure many of you know this), so that throws the 'secret spot' argument out of the window (**this does not account for maps that are efficient for players with higher ranges). Also, let's be real, most people in this game are not going to farm away for 24+ hours just to get 1 item to legendary. All in all, I would really just like to start a discussion regarding the stupidly blatant fact that nearly everyone with legendary equipment is a botter (even the streamers or 'famous maplers'). Regarding my own experience with botting, I can tell you with all confidence that it is the only reason why people are able to unlock content so fast. To everyone who bots and posts on this subreddit, atleast grow a pair and admit that you bot before you come to this subreddit asking for karma or praise.
TLDR: Annoyed at stupid controversy over botting on this subreddit, evidence that almost all people who have great equipment are botters is so blatantly obvious that it hurts my brain, those who bot and post about their equipment and accomplishments should basically announce it to the world instead of making excuses. Merry Christmas Reddit.
edit: Ppl seem to think I'm annoyed that people are ahead of me because of botting or that I'm accusing them directly. I never said all the highest lvled ppl botted or that I care if you bot or not. All I am saying is that the majority of the 'good gear' in this server is the result of botting. To those of you who grind 12+ hours a day, congratz, I really don't care (I already addressed that you may the few who are legit).
